How to configure email on outlook 2013

Configure your POP3 ,IMAP email account on Outlook 2013

First Go to tools account settings

Outlook Account Settings

Go for create new e-mail account

Outlook  Create Account

Then next page tell you to choose email-service  simply Select Microsoft Exchange , POP3,IMAP,or HTTP


Outlook Inernet Email

Then Select Manually Configure server settings or additional server types of the new account

Select Internet E-mail option
Connect to your POP ,IMAP , or HTTP server to send and receive e-mail messges.


Outlook  POP3 IMAP

  • In the user name add any alias name you want
  • Then enter in the Email Address: <Email Address>@yourdomain.com
  • Account Type: Select POP3
  • For Incoming mail server: mail.yourdomain.com OR IP Address of the incomming Mail Server
  • For Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com OR IP Address of the Outgoing Mail Server
  • In the user name enter: <Email Address>@yourdomain.com
  • In the password enter the proper case sensitive one.

Then click more settings on the same page Internt E-mail Settins Dialog show the following : From the internet E-mail Settings Outgoing Server Tab select and check My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires Authentication with option Use Same Settings As My Incoming Mail Server

On Advance TAB:

  • For Incomming Server (POP3) Port 110
  • For Outgoing you can use either the 25 port Or 587

THEN Click OK and finish the process and you should now be able to send and receive emails from your account.
