How to Upgrade/Downgrade cPanel Accounts within WHM

How to change cPanel accounts Packages in WHM

WHM control panel allows you to Upgrade and downgrade existing cPanel accounts to different cPanel Packages,this function available for cPanel resellers account and root administrators.

  1. Login to WHM control Panel.
  2. Navigate Home »Account Functions »Upgrade/Downgrade an Account .
  3. Under Account Selection list,select either domain or user that you want to change the package for.
  4. Click Modify button .
  5. From Current Package List you can change the new package for the user or domain.
  6. Click Upgrade/Downgrade button
Upgrading or downgrading an account does not affect whether it has a dedicated IP address.So if you have cPanel account and already assigned dedicated IP to the account ,changing the package will not affect the IP address associated with the cPanel account
